Terms of Service

Welcome to GreatOhm. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GreatOhm mobile application and related services ("Service") operated by GreatOhm ("we", "us", "our", "Data Fiduciary"). By creating an account and using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

GreatOhm provides spiritual wellness and self-discovery services including Numerology, Astrology, Vaastu Shastra, Palmistry, Tarot Reading, Horoscope Generation, Community features, and GreatOhm Club. The Service uses personal data you provide to generate personalized insights and recommendations.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Account and Obligations

• 3.1 You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• 3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• 3.3 You agree not to misuse the Service or use it for unlawful purposes.
• 3.4 You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.

4. Data Processing Terms

• 4.1 By using the Service, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
• 4.2 We process your data as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
• 4.3 Your data is processed solely for the purposes disclosed in the Privacy Policy.
• 4.4 You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account, which will trigger erasure of your personal data.

5. Intellectual Property

All content generated by the Service (horoscopes, numerology reports, vaastu analyses, etc.) is for personal use only. You may not redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit generated content. All branding, logos and materials are owned by GreatOhm and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer — Not Professional Advice

The Service provides spiritual and wellness insights for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any predictions or analyses, and we are not liable for any decisions made based on Service outputs.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GreatOhm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

8. Service Availability and Termination

We strive to maintain Service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate the Service with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by requesting account deletion. We may terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be erased in accordance with Section 12(3) of the DPDP Act.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will require your renewed consent through the app.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

11. GreatOhm Club Applications

GreatOhm Club allows you to browse and apply for openings and opportunities posted by GreatOhm, including jobs, translator roles, content contributions, and other programs ("Openings"). By accessing GreatOhm Club, submitting an application, or responding to an Opening, you agree to the following:

• 11.1 No Guarantee of Employment: Submitting an application or meeting the stated eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection, shortlisting, an interview, an offer, or employment. An application does not create any employment relationship or contract with GreatOhm.
• 11.2 Management Discretion: GreatOhm may accept, reject, shortlist, or withdraw any application or Opening at its sole and exclusive discretion, with or without notice, and without assigning any reason or incurring any liability.
• 11.3 Closure and Withdrawal of Openings: Openings may be closed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time, including before or after you apply, for any reason and without liability.
• 11.4 Finality and Re-application: Any decision on an application (including rejection or withdrawal) for a particular Opening is final. You may not re-apply for the same Opening once it has been rejected or withdrawn. You may be restricted to a limited number of active applications at any given time.
• 11.5 Accuracy and Content: You warrant that all information you provide in connection with an application (including your resume, qualifications, experience, and any other submissions) is accurate, complete, and current. Providing false or misleading information may result in rejection or withdrawal of your application and/or termination of your Club access.
• 11.6 Data Handling: Information submitted through GreatOhm Club, including any resume, is processed for evaluation and related administrative purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Usage Policy.

12. Refunds, Cancellations and Payments

• 12.1 All purchases are generally non-refundable once the product or service has been accessed or delivered. However, refunds may be provided where required by applicable law, including in cases involving a defective or materially misrepresented product/service, duplicate charges, or an unauthorized transaction.
• 12.2 Where a refund is due under applicable law, it will be processed in accordance with the law and our internal refund policies, and may be credited to your in-app wallet using the GreatOhm Coin points system or otherwise as applicable.
